  1. Linux:  I found it is the best suitable for education as its sources are available. Especially,  for Computer Science/IT interns this is very useful as they can experiment what they have learned in the courses and acquire real system SW orientation.

  2. Audacity: I found it is very useful for sound editing. It supports variety of features for audio editing at no cost.

  3. Wink: I was amazed with the incredible facilities available in Wink for creating dynamic lectures. However, the audio interface has to be made little more attractive.

  4. Moodle: I was amazed with the features of the moodle for E-Learning. I feel it can solve total requirements of an online Institute.  Course management, user management, quiz managements etc., are really very nicely designed.

  5. eXe: An excellent tool for authoring online lessons. I was amazed with the freedom to include multimedia contents with eXe. Without having any exposure to web related languages, users can created their course material.

  6. TurboDemo: This product is very useful to design Multimedia based lessons. Ability to include variety of shapes into the page is most interesting. In addition, its ability to export the lectures in variety of forms such as WMI, SWF, java applet, PDF, etc., is really useful.

  7. MadCap Capture: This is another product which has extensive features to edit captured images. Zooming, annotating, boxing, etc., are really vary useful while designing lecture pages.

  8. NVu: This I found to be a master piece to design web pages without having any knowledge of HTML, XML, etc., Also, ability to upload the designed page is another attraction.

  9. Flipz IV Flash: This is really amazing tool to add some more bliss to our sites by introducing  Virtual Employees to our site. Also, site can be made as voice enabled.

  10. WinMorph: An amazing tool to apply morphing operations on objects. With this tool, we can make lectures more attractive, especially lectures aimed at School Children.
