iTunes
(Podcasts) – Free audio and video podcasts
on virtually any topic. Enough learning for a
lifetime.
iTunes University – Being able to access the
best lectures by some of the most creative teachers
in the world is a privilege and an amazing learning
opportunity.
Adobe
Acrobat – We take Acrobat for granted: but
the ability to create, access, circulate and use
e-books and other material without concern for
platform, fonts etc. continues to be quite
wonderful.
Keynote
– It works for Steve Jobs each year at MacWorld:
and it is the best presentation software that I
have used.
Typepad
– Writing a blog is a learning activity, of
course, but reading the best blogs that are
available is one of my most productive learning
experiences.
Google
Search – It's the key to a world of
knowledge. I can't imagine being without it.
Delicious Library – I use this tool to
organize my library of paper books. One can scan
bar codes and access cover images and complete
information about the books, then assign
categories and provide other information.
GarageBand – A great tool for musicians and
podcasters.
Safari
– My favourite browser and my access to RSS
pages.
Pages – Mac's intuitive and stylish approach
to word processing and page layout.
